YSWG Game Plan Testimonials.
Followed Capt Dave’s game plan to the tee today. Picked up squid from Nacho and anchored up at Orange Rocks at Catalina on the slack low tide. Chummed cut squid which brought over the perch and bounced an orange lead head with a live squid tagged on it through the water column. First day out looking for WSB and my young son and I got a 40+ pounder! As always, thanks for the tips and game plans, Capt. Dave.Jason M. (YSWG Member)
Hey, Captain Dave. Great meeting you at the show. If you recall, we talked about Orange Rocks for WSB. We followed all your advice and hit it. My son learned some great lessons in fishing and we had a blast. Thanks for what you do! (I posted on the Fish Reports site!)(YSWG Member)
Hey Dave! Always good info from you. Thanks! Love the site! Had a good few hours near the 270 today with Rock Cod squirts tipped with the squid strips! Kept 9 misc tacos (Canarys, starrys, vermillions, and a couple of flags) out of 20 something caught with a Canary about 4#s as the anchor. Got tired of decending them. Good day on the pond!Jeffrey K.
